Swords were considered as the most deadly weapons in the past times. They were used to cut down the enemies in a single attempt. Moreover, they were the source of self-defense and attacking. Knives and daggers were common in the Stone Age. But with the passage of time, people started to made long version of knives and daggers, which were known as swords. They also became the best possible option for the wars with some fearsome reputation. Thousands of differently designed swords came in the market with variable blade and handle length. Koa Sword, Pacific:

The famous KOA Sword was wielded by the Hawaiians and Polynesians for utilizing the available natural resources to them. They also want to take benefits with their terrifying reputation of the associated oceans. Therefore, they created KOA Sword with the Shark’s teeth. It wasn’t only a shark tooth sword, but the spirit of terrifying ocean inhabitants was also there in it. It was a double whammy sword, too wicked in looking. The shark’s teeth were sharp enough to knock down enemies in a single attempt. The design and sharpness mixed with the terrifying reputation of ocean inhabitants made this sword in the list of top 10 deadly swords in the history.

The Jian from China:

If I could say that the Jian Sword was one of the most deadly weapon in the battlefield, then it won’t be a single percent wrong. Back in the battlefield history, people used it to cut down the enemies head with a single attempt. Although, the design of Jian Sword is gentlemanly, but don’t go with its design. This sword was also used for the stabbing and thrusting, but mainly it was for cutting down the enemies in two parts. The double edged blade looked very fierce. All of the opponents paid the price of it by underestimating its power. Therefore, it is one of the more powerful, sharp edged and deadly swords in the history.

The Kukri Sword from India:

Another most deadly sword, The Kukri from India, is present here for the review. It belongs to the family of Gurkha Soldier, the bravest soldiers in the history of India. With this sword, the Gurkha soldiers were able to cut off he heads of their enemies easily. A soldier with proper training was also able to knock down several enemies single handedly. It is also said that some of the elite opponent soldier went on back foot when they saw Gurkha soldiers holding this devastating sword. There is also another myth about this sword. Some of the Indians say that when anyone want to go in the battlefield, he takes some powers from his God with the help of Kukri sword. Nevertheless, it is present in the list of top 10 deadliest swords in the history.

The Kilij from Turkey:

The Kilij sword was created by the Turkish Swordsmith. The main idea was to develop a slashing stroke of sword with maximum power. The design and robustness of this Kilij sword was so great that it was ordered by the Central Asia. Yes, Central Asian people were also in favor of adopting this sword in their army. It was also famous in the Eastern Europe. It was a double-edged tip blade with sharp edges. The flared present at the top was another great thing in it. It was used for maximizing the support to the holder. All the experienced warrior were able to use the Kilij sword with some perfection.

Sword of Tomoyuki Yamashita:

During the World War II, Tomoyuki Yamashita was the general of Japanese Imperial Army. He was a very brave general who always played role for the betterment of his country and army. After conquering the two most British areas of Singapore and Malaya, he got famous with the name of “The Tiger of Malaya.” But his opponents pushed him towards a court trial because of Manila, Singapore, and Philippines Massacre. Although it was a controversial trail, but Tomoyuki Yamashita got death sentence. He used a sharped edged blade for knocking down his enemies in the battle grounds. Due to his bravery and defensive tactics, he was a popular Army General in Japan and his sword was very popular and deadliest too.

Zulfiqar Scimitar:

Zulfiqar Scimitar is one of the most legendary and deadliest swords of Hazrat Ali (R.A). He was the son-in-law and cousin of last Prophet of God, Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W). Hazrat Ali (R.A) got Zulfiqar Sword from Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) at the battle of Uhad. He was the bravest person at that time and he also ruled from 656 to 661 in the Islamic Caliphate period. After seeing the strength and power of Hazrat Ali (R.A), Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) became very happy and decided to give Zulfiqar to him. The Zulfiqar Sword from that time to now is known as a symbol of Islamic Faith. It was a curved blade with sharp edges.
